I love how this paper feels when I paint. Mistakes, smudges, and painting...all works well on this paper. It holds up to everything. LOVE it!
Great sketchbook. Love the weight and quality of paper, and of course, the lay flat ability is awesome. The only thing about the paper to be aware of, is that, because of its weight and thickness ink will not dry quickly. I normally have been working with a fountain pen and carbon brand waterproof black ink, adding watercolor fairly soon afterwards. Never had any ink bleed problem with lesser quality sketchbooks, but have experienced ink bleed with these. --(I am normally working quickly, so I have not experimented with how long it takes it to fully dry in this book.) Btw-- this is in the large "Cold Press" book. I have purchased the Hot Press book, but haven't started it yet.

I absolutely love this sketchbook! The thickness of the paper is a dream to work with!!! The texture is fun and I find myself using various mediums together, with many layers!!! The cover is just beautiful too!!! This is my first ever really nice watercolor sketchbook and now I am spoiled!!! How can I ever go back to anything else!!! Thank you 🙏🏾 ✨❤️

I’ve recently been painting in two of Luchetti’s lay-flat watercolor books with 300 lb paper, and they have completely spoiled me. I have purchased both the hot and cold pressed books. Love the square format and the fact that I am not limited by the centre bold! Brilliant innovations after hundreds of years of sketchbook making. Perhaps a larger book would be possible??

The book is phenomenal. Flats could be with paper that’s equal to arches paper absorbs water. Excellent layering of water is so easy no buckling of the paper. I’m on my third one highly recommend phenomenal product.

Absolutely the nicest sketchbook. The paper is fantastic, it truly lays flat. Takes watercolor paint so well, with room to move around the pigment with no paper damage. Loved it!
It took a bit to get used to the extra thick paper, but there aren't enough words to say how much I love this book. Painting right to the edge of the paper is just as amazing as painting right over the seam. As a watercolor artist, I am super picky about paper in general, and yours is great. The texture and sizing are unique, but easy to get used to. This sketchbook is an absolute joy to paint in. I have the cold press and just bought another in hot press and am eagerly waiting for it

This watercolor journal has definetely exceeded my expectations! I threw everything I had at a page-watercolor, ink, lots of water, and the journal handled it beautifully! I received my sketchbook a few days ago and I love it already. I haven't painted across the 2 page spread yet but I can appreciate it. I really like the paper and the quality of the sketchbook. I also appreciate that it is vegan friendly.
